DBA “Little Peru Inc.”

Hi! My name is Robert Salazar - sometimes known as Bobby Butterscotch. I’m a Chicago-based filmmaker and creative director. I love to read bios and here’s mine:

I was born in Scranton and grew up blending time between Pennsylvania and Peru, where my dad’s from and my extended family lives. Growing up in a bicultural environment fostered…whatever, yes, I speak Spanish. Carajo. I went to Oberlin College. I was a paid intern for the Howard Stern Show for two separate summers.

I moved to Chicago. I started working in video production/advertising at p3 mediaworks, Landor & Fitch, Lazos de Familia, and the Onion. I bought an apartment in Wicker Park. I got married. We are saving up to have a kid, a Democrat hopefully.

In 2021, I co-founded a production studio focused on artists and their art. The other founder is also named Robert…so we call the studio Bob.
